One thing we’re planning to explore is automated harvesting
If we use a tower system such as the Zip grow
Then it should be possible to harvest with a relatively affordable robot arm for the close work.
The thought is to use a rail system with QR codes or just dots to allow the carriage to calibrate it’s exact location.
Then a scissor lift to raise the robot arm to the correct height,
And finally, a £1000 robot arm to do the actual cutting.
